How can I find out about Children’s Hospitals upcoming events?

Who can volunteer at an event?

Adult volunteers must be at least 16 years of age and be willing to submit to a personal interview and background check. All volunteers must also provide adequate documentation of vaccination history and pass a general health screening. For complete information about our volunteer program, click here.

What types of items does the hospital accept as gifts?

The hospital will accept donations for children in the way of new toys, new books and new games. For a current hospital “wish list” please contact the Recreation Therapy Department at (804) 228-5817.
